I'm Rachel, I live in sunny, beautiful, colorful, Colorado! I'm a wife, a runner, a personal trainer/ health-nut, a Christ- follower, a DIYer, a perfectionist, a California native, and a former Michigan State Spartan. And I have an adorable husky-mix, Kona!

I created this blog as a place to document and share my creations with paint-- most of which will be furniture revivals. I absolutely love the power that paint has in transforming ugly things into something awesome and "new."

I like to shop at garage sales and hunt down neat pieces of furniture through Craigslist and Goodwill. Some pieces I even acquire free from the curb! I'm not sure which thrills me more:
finding great deals or creating a gasp-worthy before/after photo. They both feed my need for instant gratification, which is one reason why I love painting furniture!

I'm always trying new things and experimenting with different paint, so a lot of what I do sorta just "happens." There isn't really a formula to it, and I never get bored!
